The children of Thomas Meredith and Elizabeth Anne were Charles Colby 1857 - 1916, Alfred Ernest (the father of Millar Buzzard and the subject of this document) 1859 - 1892, Edmund Wilfred 1859 - 1892, Elizabeth Evelyn 1861 - 1912 and Herbert Lindsay 1871 – 1956.

All the photographs were taken on different dates. No portrait of another child, Thomas George Norman, can be found. He was 3 years old when he died.

(The portraits of the children above were from an album collection in the State Library of Victoria and were photographed by two photographers, “Stewart & Co” and “Gaul”. The album of photographs was owned by Dr. Neild who was a partner with Daniel Rutter Long in their chemist business at 183 Bourke St. East.)
